BOCC & Clerk Financials
The BOCC & Clerk Financials section provides access to financial records, reports, and budget information for the Board of County Commissioners and Clerk of Court. Users can review financial documents and related fiscal information made available for public transparency.
Foreclosure Sales
As of February 16th, 2023, all Jackson County Foreclosure sales are held online. Sales begin promptly at 11:00 AM CST.
Marriage Licenses
The Clerk of Court issues marriage licenses to couples planning to marry in the state. Applicants must meet age and identification requirements. A waiting period could apply.
Official Records
The Clerk maintains and provides access to official public records, including deeds, mortgages, liens, and judgments. These records can be searched online or in person.
Passports
The Clerk’s office accepts applications for U.S. passports. Services include first-time applications, renewals, and passport photos. Processing times vary depending on current demand.
Tax Deeds
The Clerk handles the sale of properties due to unpaid property taxes. Information on upcoming sales, registration, and bidding procedures is available on the Clerk’s website.
Value Adjustment Board (VAB)
The VAB hears appeals regarding property tax assessments, exemptions, and classifications. Property owners who disagree with a property valuation or denial of an exemption can file a petition through the Clerk’s office.
